Dr. Engrave uses TrueType fonts and includes an automatic layout function for importing Excel and CSV database files for fast engraving of product serial numbers and nametags. The software quickly and easily imports data and places columns of information into pre-defined text boxes to produce corporate nametags for an entire door-numbering project. Dr. Engrave is compatible with Windows® 95/98/Me/NT4.0/2000/XP/Vista.
3D Engrave allows you to produce 3D reliefs. MODELA Player CAM software reads DXF and STL files created with popular 3D CAD programs. Virtual MODELA4 enables simulation of finished shapes for previewing on your computer screen before beginning production. A Windows® driver is also included.

EGX-400 / EGX-600 Overview
Loaded with industry-first technologies, EGX PRO Series engravers have the power, size and speed professional engravers want at an affordable price. With a 70-watt, 30,000-rpm spindle, the EGX PRO engraves nametags, awards and trophies, luggage tags, medallions, 3D lettering, ADA signage, control panels and serial number plates. Maximum work area for the EGX-600 is 24" X 16" and 16" X 12" for the EGX-400. Both have a Z axis height of 1.57".

Surface Detection
Automatic surface detector determines when the tip of the nose guard touches the material surface for fast and easy setup.
Flat, Level Surface
T-slot table provides a flat, even engraving surface and can be easily removed when using jigs, vices or larger materials.
Safe Operation
Push-button control panel extends from the machine, allowing users start and pause jobs from a safe distance.
Production-Line Engraving
Sequence I/O controller lets users link several EGX PROs together for production-line engraving.

Fast & Accurate

Software
The EGX PRO comes complete with an entire suite of engraving software. Before production, Virtual MODELA simulates finished shapes for previewing. Dr. Engrave produces high-quality engraving and uses TrueType fonts. 3D Engrave enables production of 3D relief. Available as an add-on, EZ Engrave comes with engraving specific fonts, ADA design, and a variety of fill patterns. All included software is compatible with Windows 95/98/Me/NT4.0/2000/XP/Vista.
